YOUR CEREMONY

The Marriage Ceremony is the focal point of your wedding day. It reflects who you are and your relationship.


Unique Ceremonies will assist you to plan and will conduct your Marriage Ceremony in accordance with your beliefs, ideas and customs, to suit your individual needs.


LEGALITIES 

A Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed at least one calendar month prior to your wedding day and lodged with your Marriage Celebrant.


Unique Ceremonies will assist you to complete the NOIM



INITIAL DISCUSSION

The process begins with a no obligation discussion of your values, customs and beliefs. It will also focus on your thoughts about your Ceremony and what you would like to say about your relationship and other important people in your lives. 


We will also discuss the involvement of others in your Ceremony. Unique Ceremonies specialises in the inclusion of children.

VOWS, READINGS & THEME CEREMONIES

Unique Ceremonies has over 100 vows, poems and readings for you to choose from. You may also write your own vows. Assistance will be provided (if required). Unique Ceremonies also has a number of Theme Ceremonies for you to consider. These include various Cultural Ceremonies and Pagan Ceremonies. Based on the discussion, Unique Ceremonies will draft a Ceremony  for your approval.


REVIEW OF DRAFT CEREMONY

Your draft Ceremony will be emailed to you. You will have unlimited consultation with your Civil Celebrant via email and telephone as you make changes to your Ceremony to make it truly Unique.


REHEARSAL

A rehearsal ensures everything goes according to your wishes. It will assist all members of the Wedding Party to familiarise themselves as how you would like you Marriage Ceremony to proceed. It will ensure the best possible setting for photographs on your Wedding Day.


The Rehearsal is usually scheduled the Sunday before your Ceremony at the venue of your Ceremony and at the same time as your upcoming Ceremony.


THE WEDDING DAY

Your Civil Celebrant will arrive at your Ceremony Venue 30 minutes prior to the commencement of your Ceremony to set up, great your family and friends and cater for any last minute changes.


Your Ceremony will be clearly printed in a Presentation Folder that your Civil Celebrant will provide on the day. You will be presented with your Presentation Folder, as keep sake, at the end of your ceremony. Your Certificate of Marriage will be placed in the Presentation Folder for safekeeping. 


CEREMONY VENUES

There are many beautiful places to have your Ceremony. In Australia there are minimal restrictions. Public spaces such as parks and gardens do however require the approval of the Local Government Council in which they are located.
